1. Title Page & Identity Structure

  • Article Title: (Must reflect the essence of the research, clear, and concise).

  • Author’s Name(s): Written below the title without academic titles/degrees.

  • Author’s Affiliation: Must include the name of the institution/affiliation, full address, post code, and country.

  • Email Address: Active correspondence email address.

  • Abstract:

    • If the full text is written in Indonesian, the abstract must be provided in both Indonesian and English on a single page.

    • If the full text is written in English, the abstract is only required in English.

    • Technical Specifications: Maximum of 250 words per language format. It must be written narratively in one single paragraph, comprising the aim/objective, method, and findings of the research.

  • Keywords: Words or phrases that are important, specific, or representative of the article.

2. Main Headings of the Manuscript

The manuscript must comprise exactly five main headings as formatted in the official template:

  1. Pendahuluan (Introduction)

    • Contains the background of the study, research urgency, literature review, and research objectives.

  2. Metode Penelitian (Method)

    • Explains the research design, subjects/objects, data collection techniques, instruments, and data analysis methods used.

  3. Hasil dan Pembahasan (Result and Discussion)

    • Presents the research findings systematically (supported by tables or figures if necessary) followed by a deep discussion, theoretical implications, or comparisons with previous studies.

  4. Simpulan (Conclusions)

    • Provides a concise and clear answer to the research objectives, and may include recommendations for future research.

  5. Daftar Pustaka (References)

    • Lists all the sources cited within the text. Ensure to use a reference manager (such as Mendeley or Zotero) in accordance with the citation style required by the template.

3. Technical & Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: The journal only accepts articles that have not been published yet in other media.

  • Manuscript Length: The total length of the manuscript must be between 6 to 15 pages (strictly adhering to the layout of the template).

  • File Format: The manuscript must be saved and submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx, or .rtf).

  • Review Process: All manuscripts will be reviewed. If necessary, authors will be requested to revise their work based on the editor's feedback. The editor reserves the right to make minor textual corrections.

4. OJS Submission Process

  1. Access the Open Journal System (OJS) of Jurnal Kalacakra.

  2. Click REGISTER if you do not have an account yet, or click LOG IN if you already have one.

  3. When filling out the submission metadata, all authors' names and identities must be completely embedded in the form by the corresponding author, including emails, affiliations, and a short biography for each author in the 'Bio Statement' column.

  4. Track the status of your manuscript regularly by logging into the OJS or checking your registered email.
